Moringa oleifera

The drumstick tree.

Known affectionately in Tamil Nadu as murungai, Our Moringa is cultivated in meticulously enriched earth along the beautiful foothills of the Western Ghats and Sirumalai. A true testament to natural resilience, it thrives even with very little water easily surviving a failed monsoon and reaches a harvestable height in under a year. A miracle of nature, almost every part of this incredible tree is wonderfully edible.

02The tree

A full season, in one scroll.

Seed to harvest, the way the tree actually does it: fast, untidy, and useful at every stage.

  1. 01

    Seed

A winged seed, sown at the start of the rains.

  2. 02

    Stem

Fast and soft-wooded — head height inside a year.

  3. 03

    Branches

Thin, brittle limbs that fork low and wide.

  4. 04

    Leaves

Small oval leaflets in opposite pairs. The harvest.

  5. 05

    Flowers

Cream blossoms in a short window after the rains.

  6. 06

    Pods

The drumstick itself, up to half a metre long.

  7. 07

    Harvest

Picked at first light, in shade within the hour.

Seven steps between the field and your kitchen. One of them matters more than the rest.

  1. 01

    Seed

Quality control starts before the plant reaches the field. Seeds enter documented nursery protocols — germination protocols, grow-bag systems, soil-media modification and young-plant hardening — so every tree begins from a verified, healthy start.

  2. 02

    Cultivation

Grown under one of four documented planting models — 12×12 ft, 8×8 ft, 4×4 ft or high density up to 3,800 plants an acre — matched to the crop's purpose: leaf, biomass or tree development. Every practice follows SOPs developed and demonstrated on our own farm.

  3. 03

    Harvest

Harvesting is planned around what happens next: post-harvest handling and drying requirements decide how and when leaf is picked. Careful harvesting is the first quality step after cultivation — and harvesting practices are among the SOPs we developed on our farm and transferred to farmers.

  4. 04

    Drying

Building on years of low-temperature expertise, CLHPD represents the next stage in MiracleTree’s controlled dehydration journey. Developed specifically for premium Moringa and herbal materials, it safeguards the nutrients and integrity often lost to conventional drying.

  5. 05

    Processing

Dried leaf enters a controlled chain — milling, sieving and quality control — before anything is formulated, blended or pressed. It is the same chain MiracleTree® now designs into full processing facilities: receiving, cleaning, de-stemming, controlled drying, milling, sieving, quality control, packing.

  6. 06

    Packaging

Packaging is a quality step, not an afterthought. It sits inside the controlled chain — formulation → packaging → traceability — so what reaches your kitchen can be traced back through processing to the farm.

  7. 07

Anyone can sell you a green powder. Very few can show you the farm, the drying chamber and the years of hard-work standing behind it. Here is what lies between our leaf and your pack.

  1. 01

DRYING THAT PROTECTS THE LEAF, NOT JUST PRESERVES IT

Fresh Moringa leaves are highly perishable, and inappropriate drying can adversely affect colour, sensory quality and nutritional characteristics. That is why, in 2014, we moved away from uncontrolled conventional drying and introduced ULTCD — Ultra Low Temperature Closed Chamber Drying: low temperature, controlled environment, hygienic closed-chamber processing — then advanced it again in 2019 with CLHPD — Controlled Low Heat Process Drying.

  2. 02

ONE CHAIN, CONTROLLED END TO END

Cultivation → Harvesting → Primary Processing → Drying → Milling → Formulation → Product Development → Packaging → Quality Systems. International quality cannot be created only inside a factory; it requires control across the chain — seed & cultivation, harvesting, hygiene, drying, processing, quality assurance, formulation, packaging, traceability. We control all of it.

  3. 03

THE WHOLE TREE, NOT JUST THE LEAF

“Don’t grow Moringa merely to harvest it. Create value from the tree.” Leaves, flowers, seeds and cold-pressed seed oil — powders, foods, beverages, supplements and skin-food personal care. That whole-tree philosophy now stands behind more than 60 Moringa formulations, from MOGO® and MOVITA® to Beauty Drops.

  4. 04

FIFTEEN YEARS OF PROOF, FROM THE FARM UP

Since 2009: four cultivation models, including high-density systems of up to 3,800 plants per acre; farming knowledge transferred to growers through SOPs; and products reaching more than 14 countries. Global Moringa competitiveness begins at the farm — and the farm is where we began.

From tree to technology. From farm to global nutrition.

What we are not saying

You will find a great deal written online about what moringa does to the human body. We do not repeat it. These are food products, not medicines, and nothing here is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

What we can tell you is how the plant grows, which part of it is in each pack, where it was grown, and how it was dried. If you are pregnant, nursing, taking prescribed medication or managing a health condition, speak to a qualified medical practitioner before adding any supplement to your diet.
